In the social background of institution reform and stadium operations management reform, the "transformation" of large sports venues and the improvement of the performance management of venues have become a "hot spot" and "difficult point". Major sports venues have carried on the hard exploration from the implementation of the strategic goal of design, the interior, the future development of venues and other various aspects. And the balanced scorecard which is used to make up for the inadequacy of traditional performance management method, is widely applied to the performance appraisal evaluation system, so as to enhance the core competitive ability of large sports venues and to realize the sustainable development of the venue.This article mainly uses literature method and expert investigation method. First of all, clarify the concepts and theories of large sports venues, performance management and the balanced scorecard; Secondly, expound the current situation of performance management of the stadium; Thirdly, construct the stadium building index system of performance management, and assign the corresponding indicators with weights through expert scoring. Finally, based on the actual situation of the Hong Shan sports for analysis, discuss the feasibility and necessity of applying the balanced scorecard in the performance management, and analysis the effect of the application of balanced scorecard analysis for the Hong Shan sports center, which can be used as reference for other large sports venues of performance management. Based on the problems existing in the course of large sports venues of performance management using the balanced scorecard and the effect of the balanced scorecard in Hong Shan sports center, Putting forward the suggestions when the balanced scorecard has been applied to the practice of large-scale stadium of our country:Clearing the difference and relation between performance management and performance examine; Positively promoting and using the index system and appraisal system which was built via this paper; Conducting the result of the appraisal reasonably, Treating the balanced scorecard with scientific and rational attitude; To explore the balanced scorecard that possessing Chinese characteristics and large-scale stadium characteristics.
