The public psychology is the normal course, occupation ability and professionaldevelopment since it directly affects the normal and healthy growth. Due to the highcolleges and universities public psychology to cultivate qualified has importantsignificance for primary and middle school teachers, the teaching should be based onthe teachers’ professional development as the core, to pre service teacher education isthe foothold of the whole process, pay attention to the teacher professionaldevelopment. However, the public psychology teaching in teachers is not optimistic,especially in minority students of one school for the Han and, because of the differentculture, the teaching content, teaching methods, teaching language, teaching materials,teaching efficiency, the students learning motivation, assessment methods and otherproblems more obvious. These problems affect the public psychology teaching effect,affecting the normal students psychology and education to raise the skill level andoccupation development. Therefore, aiming at the problems of College PsychologyTeaching in ethnic minority regions of the problem and its causes, to think is veryimportant to improve the quality of postgraduate education of ethnic teachers from across cultural perspective.This paper take Xinjiang Kashgar Teacher’s College for example, by using themethod of questionnaire and interview, the study shows:(1) the teaching content toomany and complex, highly theoretical, less hours;(2) cases out of date, learning somedifferences in requirements and the actual life of minority normal content and localstudents;(3) teaching because of Chinese teaching content, a certain proportion ofethnic minority students, in the understanding, internalization and applicationdifficulties;(4) teaching pertinence, practicality and innovation is not high.(5) the students of public psychology learning objectives is not clear, the lack of learninginitiative and self-learning ability. Teacher:(1) some old teachers education idea andteaching method is old;(2) professional qualities, teaching ability and experience ofyoung teachers’ own insufficiency, means the lack of flexibility, lack of integration oftheory with practice, teaching organization is not reasonable,(3) because there are toomany students, the teachers and students of communication, teaching content targetedand progress;(4) the teaching resources and the lack of equipment or backward, theappraisal method is not reasonable etc.On the basis of the above analysis, the Kashgar Teacher’s College publicpsychology teaching problems, from the teaching material, teaching content, teachers,students, teaching methods, assessment methods put forward improvement strategies.
