Concerning about the Career develo pments of female teachers in research universities, actively seeking a favorable way f or this unique group, industriously building a better development platform for them, is not only to help women promote overall growth and effective channels to enhance the status of women, but also is the current higher education inevitable requirement of reform and development, further is the initiative strategy of the promoting social har mony between the sexes. This article certainly pays a great attention to the whole soci ety of female teachers in research universities professional development, to point the s ignificance of female teacher professional development. Based On it, we studied and a nalyzed the results of relevant statistical data about female teachers’professional dev elopment in research universities and interviews with female teachers in Zhejiang Un iversity, describing the particularity and complexity issues faced by this group:1) con fused by the distress of role confliction and Position;2) the career development bottle neck leading to decline of expectations;3) the low proportion of management leaders hip, lacking the right of female teachers to speak. So we Specifically, comprehensivel y from individual level, college level, community level explore the factors influencin g the career development of female teachers in research university, and following this logical path further explore strategies and ideas to optimize their career development, striving to solve problems on the road of professional development for its high level of female teachers, to promote their better growth.
