Education is the foundation of improving the people’s livelihood and the carrier of spreading civilization. Educational equality is the foundation of the social equality, it can accelerate achievement of social equality. The radical purpose of the educational reform in out country is to chase educational equality. Balanced urban-rural development emphasizes on how to take city and countryside into the system of economic society development for changing the situation of the division of city and countryside, founding new relation between city and countryside, improving the function and structure, realizing the rational configuration of urban-rural production elements, coordinating urban-rural benefits, eliminating urban-rural dualistic structure step by step, narrowing urban-rural differences. At present, enhancing educational equality under perspective of balance of city and countryside can help broaden relative research of education development and social factors, deepen scientific understanding of educational equality and balanced development, it can provide strategic decision reference. So it has profound significance to push on research of educational equality under perspective of urban-rural coordination.Through the understanding of educational equality and concept of urban-rural coordination, through the analysis of current situation on educational equality under perspective of city and countryside coordination. Many problems existed, such as unreasonable allocation of educational resource, unreasonable allocation of faculty, unfair opportunities for urban-rural citizen to take education. The main reason for this is urban-rural dualistic structure:imbalance of economic development of society between city and countryside, unreasonable allocation of marketing resource, perfectionless of policy system. How to eliminate urban-rural dualistic structure and how to promote development between urban-rural coordination and educatioanl equality with the basic principles of Marxism need thinking and studying by theory staff and teaching staff, it also provide some suggestions.First of all, the development planning of urban-rural coordination and harmonious unity of urban-rural education should be strengthened; secondly, the unreasonable situation of resource allocation should be changed; thirdly, the quality gap of running school between city and countryside should be narrowed through management model and faculty allocation in school; fourthly, the backward situation of education in countryside should be changed through increasing investment in countryside; fifthly, household register barrier affecting educational equality should be eliminated:at last, intendance and assessment on education should be strengthened, in order to guide and ensure fair and persistent development of urban-rural education.
