Research On Women’s Deliberation Thoughts In The Early Years Of20^th Century

Abstract:In the early years of the20th century, with the Chinese society of grave national crisis and the expansion of Western Learning, the elite who armed the doctrine of innate rights had been advocated the women’s liberation thoughts. In the trends of these thoughts, elite who named Jin Tianhe is an outstanding representative.In1903, an elite who named Jin Tianhe, known as one of "Wu Jiang three elites".With statesmanship prides, he published a book that named the Women’s bell.At first time, it systematically discussed the women’s rights in modern Chinese history and produced a profound influence.The women s bell comprehensive discusses women’s rights, which in the elaborate giving up bound feet, setting up women’s education, advocating a modern marriage, proclaiming the right of women’s participation in politics and other aspects.The book criticized cripples limbs of women bound feet, fuss, vulgar, etc, also criticized the imprisonment of woman thoughts, strongly demands a woman’s good health right, the education right, the right of freedom marriage and the right of political participation.Jin Tianhe as the representative of male thinkers at the beginning of20th century, wanted to mobilize the power of the woman with men together to participate in the torrent of creating a nation-state, who issued the voice "however rise and fall of the world, the women have the responsibility to construct". This women’s deliberate thoughts, has a distinct political characteristics. Comparing with the women’s deliberate thoughts in the period of Hundred Days on Reform, the women’s deliberate thoughts pay more attention to the female’s rights and interests, required to return the doctrine of innate rights of women. On account of the nationalism and the crisis of male elite in the beginning of20th century, this women liberation trends also have a fighting characteristics. The women’s liberation trends in the20th century when the Chinese society rapidly transformed, was a note in this chorus, which had a positive impact at the time, and also provided an inspiration for the future study of women’s liberation. Although it inevitably has limitations and incompleteness in the understanding of women’s deliberation thought, but even though, we should affirm its contributions to the women’s liberation movement in the early Twentieth Century.
