Academic assessment refers to a value judgments of student’s level of knowledge, abilityand passion attitude values that based on the teaching objectives are set by the state that aftera period of study. Currently, our academic assessment study at the exploratory stage, andmainly at the stage of basic education. Most academic assessment research is still in the levelof theoretical study, not yet mature academic assessment system. In high school, students’academic assessment of biology lacks of research related theory and empirical research.This study on the basis of research literature and in-depth analysis Ordinary High SchoolBiology Curriculum Standards (experimental). This study borrows ideas from the researchabout academic assessment at home and abroad, and builds a biology academic assessmentsystem of high school students. Base on this system, it is researching high school students’biological academic achievement in Liaoning Province from three aspects of knowledge,ability and passion attitude values.In this paper, literature research, expert evaluation method mean to build a high schoolstudents’ biology academic assessment system; Using paper test, questionnaire to evaluate thehigh school students’ biology academic assessment. We collect the data to mathematicalstatistics and evaluate the high school students’ biological academic level in LiaoningProvince. It is putting forward suggestions to improving high school students’ biologicalacademic standard.The research is divided into three parts: The first part is building high school students’biological academic assessment system. The second part is researching the high schoolstudents’ biological academic in Liaoning Province. Including establish knowledge papers andability papers, compile passion attitude and values questionnaires, count and analyze data.The third part is putting forward ideas and suggestions to improve academic achievementlevel of high school students in Liaoning province. Based on the findings, the conclusions areas follows:1. High school students’ biology academic assessment system is multi-dimensional.Ongoing academic assessment pays more attention to the measurement of knowledge. Ability,passion attitude and values can not ignore.2. High school students’ biological academic level in Liaoning province stands onmedium level, and has certain disparity with ideal level. Performance in three dimensions isimbalance,the level of ability is lowest.3. Urban and rural high school students’ biological academic level exist a gap. Theoverall level of urban areas is higher than in rural areas.4. Emphasis and ordinary high school students’ biological academic level has obvious differences. The overall level of urban areas is higher than in rural areas. Emphasis highschool is better than ordinary high school. This difference is more obvious in knowledge,ability.Through the empirical study, this thesis put forward two suggestions on how to perfecthigh school students’ biology academic assessment and improve high school students’biological academic overall quality level in Liaoning province:1. academic assessmentshould attach importance to the ability, passion attitude and values. The evaluation modeshould diversification2. The configuration of educational resources should be fair andreasonable.
