The vocational colleges are the places where applied talents are cultivated. The new talents cultivation mode of Work-Study Combination and School-Enterprise Integration has an extremely important guiding significance in improving vocational education of hotel management major and in cultivation of high-skilled applied talents for hotel.Based on the sorting out of the research results of educational theory of talents cultivation and on analysis of current status of school-enterprise cooperation, the author proposes, from the government, enterprise and school levels, the problems in the current school-enterprise cooperation in vocational schools. By comparative analysis of Lausanne Mode of Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, the WIE School-Enterprise Cooperation Mode of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Order-Oriented Cultivation Mode of Tourism College of Zhejiang China, the author proposes that, the successful school-enterprise cooperation should have excellent external conditions, namely, the government policy support and perfection of professionalized market. Moreover, the excellent combinations of internal factors, such as curriculum system, teacher resources, teaching conditions and appraisal system are important contents of scientification of talents cultivation mode.The author creatively proposes the new talents cultivation mode of Work-Study combination and school-enterprise integration of hotel management major that effectively makes up for the weakness in theoretical study with regard to talents cultivation mode. With its main body including students, enterprise and school, the talents cultivation mode of Work-Study combination and school-enterprise integration is an educational mode which combines studying with working-It is vocation-oriented, making full use of educational environment and resources both on and off the campus, organically combining the school education which focuses on class teaching and off-campus work from which direct experiences can be gained. It is prevailing in the whole process of cultivation of students and highlighting that the teaching procedure is practical, open and vocational. Its talents cultivation procedure of Three Levels plus Two Integrations and talents cultivation feature of Three zero distance distinguishes in the talents cultivation mode of school-enterprise education.When this paper is composed, various research methods are employed for theoretical study and practical proof. First of all, questionnaire method had been used to collect a good number of first-hand data from hotel management personnel and junior staff. By quantitative analysis on data gained the basic status of talents cultivation and need for talents in the hotel industry is known, and in this way providing a good number of data for the following research. By using the literature review method the author has read and collected extensively through literature on school-enterprise cooperation and talents cultivation and found the research gap. In order to give evidence and support for the new mode of Work-Study combination and school-enterprise integration which the author has proposed, the talents cultivation mode of hotel management major of Shandong College of Tourism&Hospitality has been presented as an example for further proof of the new mode, making every effort to provide practical solutions and suggestions on talents cultivation of hotel management major. |
