Influence Of Traditional Morality Over Modern College Students

As a part of the traditional culture, the status and effect of traditional morality can not be neglected in college moral education. During the procedure of guiding college students form correct world view, outlook on life and sense of worth, we should give full play to the positive effort of traditional morality, in company with modern morality, guide students improve themselves. College moral education should guide university students, with the core value system of socialism, pursue improvement of ideology and morality, also develop the soul of positive traditional morality, support giving full scope to the positive efforts of well traditional morality, and resist decadent ways and dross in the value system of socialism. College moral education will also offer correct guidance of value to students, create good environment for them growing up healthily, and also keep the procedure of college moral education develop smoothly. This paper will analyze the influence of traditional morality on modern college students through questionnaire survey to students’morality lever in three universities in Hefei, give conclusion to the reality of college education in the aspect of traditional morality and offer suggestion to the improvement of traditional morality.The whole paper will be divided into five parts:I A synthetical presentation to the study.It claims the relations between morality, traditional morality and college moral education, and the attitude of modern education to ancient moral tradition. It brings the sense of offering well moral traditions in modern college moral education, and gives full play to the guidance of traditional morality in helping students forming correct world view, outlook on life and sense of worth.Ⅱ The meaning of Chinese traditional moralityThe paper gives brief introduction to traditional morality, analyzes its characteristics and detailed its positive, negative impact.Ⅲ Analyze of the influence of traditional morality to modern college studentsThis part puts forward how much traditional morality could influence modern college students. It contrives questionnaire, gets into know the attitude and opinions of modern students toward traditional morality, and what traditional morality is in their point of view through anonymous investigation and interview. How the influence of traditional morality forms is also discussed in this part.IV This part brings out the value of the improvement of traditional morality to college students’ national confidence and sense of worth. Well traditional morality is of great value to the formation of students’personality, and socialist ideological and ethical progress.V Conclusion.
