Traditional Moral And Morality Of The Culture Of Contemporary College Students On Campus

Much attention has been always paid to the college students’moral condition as one of the focus problems in the whole society. College students’ group is located in the higher academic degree, with high quality in the whole society, give a good example to others, lead the entire social progress and development; the college students’are advanced representative of the youth, on behalf of country’s future and people’s hope, so how good is this group’s moral condition directly related to one country’s moral construction better or not. In the past, university man is usually called’the ivory tower of the blessed’, college is also considered to the last pure land on the social side, nowadays the economy development has negatively influence on the college and the students, which is no exception. The moral failure of society can be seen everywhere in the college. The lack of morality education on campus and the fault of excellent traditional moral education are the reasons why lead to this problem. So using excellent traditional moral education resources for reference is necessary to develop students’moral status.’Education facing the21st century revitalization action plan’made by the Ministry of Education in1998, provided strategic guidance for improving the overall social moral level. Undergraduates belong to the cream of the crop in the society, have to play a vanguard and exemplary role. Compare today’s college students moral status with social’s moral condition, it is better.But making a comparison of yesterday’s students, it is far behind. According to the development point of view, economic base and superstructure should coordinate with each other, however with the high development of economy, whole society moral level is falling. And the college students’ moral condition is also decreasing by degrees. They have lower quality of civilization, all kinds of incivility and immoral phenomenon can be found everywhere in college. This appearance must be paid much attention by the whole society. We have to devote ourselves to cultivate the students’ moral quality, not only the responsibility of school and family but also all society and everyone. Basing on the above consideration, in reference to the predecessor of this paper has been on the basis of the outcome of the study, using survey methods to analyze the status quo of college students’ moral condition, trying to use excellent traditional moral education resources for reference to develop students’ moral status. I hope the try can enrich the related study about the college students’ moral status and can be helpful of promoting practice of moral education.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into four parts. The first part is going to give a definition of some related concept, such as college moral and excellent traditional moral; the second part, by means of a questionnaire, in the results of the questionnaire on the basis of statistics and data analysis, introducing college students’ moral condition, including the external and internal performance and the reasons; the third part, trying to use excellent traditional moral education resources for reference to develop students’ moral status.
