On the basis of children’s literature research, this research attempts to explain the role of children’s literature in Chinese teaching, and to explore the revelation which can be learned from children’s literature in Chinese teaching.The main research methods:literature analysis method, based on clear research analysis on domestic literature about children’s literature and Chinese teaching and combing its dialectical analysis, to determine the starting point and ideas of the research. And in expositions process, we improve convincing by citing important literature; statistical analysis method, through the collection of statistical data relevant to the topic, especially information of Chinese teaching, to support this the argument of the study; comparison method, comparing the proportion of children’s literary works in the textbooks, the demands of students in different classmates segment, the differences between Chinese and American textbooks about the development of curriculum resources, and so on. By using comparative methods, make the argument more clear.This study is divided into four parts altogether. The first chapter is the Introduction, mainly on putting forward the problem of the " children’s literature and Chinese teaching",what the purpose and significance of the study, at the same time, summarizing the problem of children’s literature and Chinese teaching, and expounding the main content of the research and research methods. The second to the fourth chapter is the main part of the study. The second chapter stylistics the types of children’s literature as Chinese curriculum resources, the proportion of Chinese and foreign children’s literary works in the textbooks and their cultural interpretation, as well the development of children’s literature as Chinese curriculum resources; the third chapter mainly researches the characteristics of children presented by children’s literature and Chinese teaching practice activities; The fourth chapter mainly discusses children’s literature can be integrated with the Chinese teaching, from the point of the reading, writing, literacy and oral communication teaching.The innovation of this study is to:Focus on the proportion of the foreign outstanding children’s literary works in Chinese textbooks, to cultivate children’s national cultural heritage and capabilities of using ethnic language, while also hopes to introduce the foreign culture, to expand the children’s international horizons and minds; Interpretation from the perspective of culture to children’s literary works, update the teaching material selection point of view; Draw, lessons from foreign language education in the curriculum development, to develop children’s literature well, make it become Chinese curriculum resources; In the teaching activities of children’s literary works, pay attention to children’s characteristics, adopt the best way which is suitable for children to teach; Focus on the combination of children’s literature and the teaching of literacy and oral communication. To study the children’s literature in Chinese teaching, understand the characteristics of children’s literature, the adaptability to children, the characteristics of Chinese teaching, and then these combined roles to Chinese teaching will make children’s literature and Chinese teaching both have been developed.
