A Preliminary Study On Children’s Literature Of The Elementary Chinese Experimental Textbooks

Since the new curriculum reform, the proportion of children’s literature in the elementary school language teaching material presents increasing trend, the status of children’s literature in primary school Chinese education is rising. But there are still scholars believe that children’s literature is not really entered the primary school Chinese curriculum, this problem is also become the focus of attention and discussion. This as foothold, this paper attempts to discuss children’s literature text’s shortage in the current primary school language teaching material.This article discusses the unique advantages of children’s literature into the primary school Chinese curriculum and their closely connection from child psychology, curriculum theory, and the statues of children’s literature in Chinese curriculum, then analyses the current primary school language teaching material published by People Education Press, Beijing Normal University Press and Jiangsu Education for children’s literature text’s shortage. Found:the texts are lack of children’s perspective; Attaches great importance to the ideological and moral education, presents the characteristics of aesthetic utilitarianism; Lack of interest; Lack of fantasy, fantasy was severely weakened and so on; Finally, in view of this situation, this paper puts forward some suggestions, such as:Understand the children, respect for children,desalination tendency of moral education, increase the fun of the text, provide more rich fantasy world, add article’s narrative composition, to distinguish the type works and so on.
