Spatial Distribution Pattern Of Chinese Golf Facilities And Related Factors Exploration Based On Spatial Auto-correlation Theory

Since the notification Golf Should be Firstly Popularized in The Region ofBeijing，Dalian and Guangdong Province established in1985，golf facilities wasdramatically constructed in the costal and tourism-based cities. We had nearly400operating golf facilities by the end of2011. The importance of clearing thedistribution pattern lies in the fundamental and assuring function of golf facilities.By adopting the research methods of Literature， Expert Consultation andMathematical Statistic，using Geoda software，this paper explores the spatial auto-correlation and cluster type of Chinese golf facilities.1．The spatial econometric results show that the global pattern of Chinese golffacilities is random distribution.2．A stable LL region has been composed of several western provinces such asXinjiang, Sichaung and so on.3．The southern HL distribution pattern whose center is Guangdong haven’t passthe significance test.4．The Bohai Rim have the highest potential to develop into HH region.5．Region’s number of golf facilities is correlated with fixed asset investment，middle class，annual real estate investment，Annual precipitation，traveling foreignexchange in this region.6．Region’s number of golf facilities is not correlated with temperature，validacreage in this region.7．From top to bottom of incidence are traveling foreign exchange，middle class，fixed asset investment，annual real estate investment and Annual precipitation.The limitations and future directions of this research are given in the end of thispaper.
