With the rapid development of economic globalization, and internationalbackdrop, China’s education reform steadily, the inquiry-based teaching model beaccepted and promote the high school teachers, has obtained certain achievement.This study is based on the research background and current situation of teaching, Byadopting the method of questionnaire survey was carried out by the Conghua NO.5high school thought political lesson of inquiry teaching related research. The resultsshowing that:(1) High school thought political lesson to carry out the inquiry teaching has aprofound basis of pedagogy and psychology theory.(2) High school ideological and political teacher and student’s perception ofinquiry-based teaching level is not high;(3) Inquiry teaching in the high school thought political lesson teachingapplication situation is not optimistic;(4) Factors affecting the current high school thought political lesson of inquiryteaching from many aspects, including students, teachers and the externalenvironment;(5) Based on the above research, this study put forward the improving strategy ofinquiry teaching is high school thought political lesson, for peer reference, specificinclude: the effort to do a good job of students, promote political teachers’professional level, create a suitable external environment of inquiry teaching.
