The problem of teachers is the bottleneck restricting the development of preschool education in our country. According to the recent development of the preschool education, the Chinese government has issued "A number of opinions on the current development of pre-school education" in November2010. In order to build a strong arm of preschool educators with noble morality, love children, excellent business, reasonable structure, the document demanded that the country should strengthen the development of the preschool teachers in different ways. At present, there is a huge gap of preschool educators. So it’s going to be a large quantity of new recruited teachers floating into the preschool education field in short time. The first problem of the new teachers is the occupational adaption. To achieve good occupational adaptation is a good beginning of the education career of a preschool teacher. It’s also relative to the whole level of the teaching staff and the growth and development of children. Those are the background and reason of this work. In this article, we are going to study the difficulty and influence factors of the occupational adaptation process of the new preschool teachers in the way of case study, and then make some relative suggestions. Those are the research meanings of this work.This work has chosen a typical preschool teacher as the object of study. And then we began our work with the process of her occupational adaptation along the three years after her became a preschool teacher. Different from the former study whose objects are inclined to emphasize the deficiency of objective factors as the difficulties in their occupational adaptation, the typicalness of our study object is that she is grateful to the objective factors when talking about her changes in those years. Therefore the main outline of this work is telling the stories of occupational adaptation, summing up the experience of occupational adaptation and offering suggestions.Qualitative research method is taken as the main study method in this article. And then three interviews of different depths are taken. They can present the whole process of the occupational adaptation actually. Based on the analysis of the interview data, we generally described the occupational adaptation experience of the object. The psychological changes of the object are shown between the lines. Using the NVivo9software, we deeply analyzed the influence factors of the occupational adaptation, which include the key person, the key event, the difference between the real and fancy, the deficiency of professional competence, the relationship between colleagues, the relationship between teacher and children, the recognition of parents and the group atmosphere of the kindergarten. In which, the kindergarten leader and the class adviser are the key persons, and the first class and the open class activities are the key events.Conclusions of the study are as follows:The occupational adaptation is a complicated and confused process, involving in all aspects of problems. But the main problem is the growth problem. And the professional growth is the corn of the occupational adaptation. All the pressure and confusion of work at the beginning of the career are from the deficiency of professional competence, especially to the college graduates. As college graduates, they always aim too high and arrogant and have any work experience. Those two contrary aspects lead to the problem of great ambition with little talent and the embarrassing situation of don’t know what to do with the difficult problem. And the following problems would be then alienation of children, the reject of parents and the denial of colleague. If there is no effective assistance at this time, the new teachers will feel much more confused and pressure. What’s more, they will think that maybe it’s not fit to this work. Therefore, in order to achieve good occupational adaptation, we should firstly address the professional growth as the central issue. At the same time, the kindergarten leader and class adviser should provide timely assistance to face the difficulty. Secondly, the kindergartens should pay more attention to the important role that the open class plays, and organize more open classes for the new teachers. At last, we should take effective use of mentoring system. And the practice of kindergarten A is a good experience to learn. Let the mentoring system play its due role effectively.
