Family education is the basic of education. On the one hand, it is the foundation of school education and social education; on the other hand, it is the basis of life and growth, and plays a profound and lasting impact on the development of a person’s life. However, the prevalence of utilitarian and instrumentalist of the current family education, made parents concerned only with the mastery of knowledge and skills children need to survive, while ignoring the growth of the children’s deeper spiritual life, and caters to school education blindly while ignoring the unique function of the family education. Family education became a vassal of the school education, parents alienated as the supervisor of the children’s learning and children alienated as the obj ect to be processed and disciplined. The life is lost in family education.Life-emphasized education which is aimed at "facing and aiming at life to improve human’s life quality" see "the presence of life" as the core and is based on the rationalization of educational goals, the comprehension of educational content and the humanity of educational process. It is a reflection and return of the nature of education and very enlightening for family education.Therefore, based on the seriously research on family education and the meaning of life-emphasized education, I try to use the life-emphasized education theory to analyze family education practice, and make a try to propose and construct life-emphasized education.Therefore, life-emphasized family education means that nourish life in family education. It includes the following aspect. The core is the presence of life, the goal is bring up subject, the background is living word, and the way is communication and dialogue.This paper, using Literature method discusses the relationship of life and education and the concept of life-emphasized education. Analysis family education with theory of life-emphasized education and put forward the idea of the life-emphasized family education, then discusses the meaning of it.Introduction presents the reason and significance of the study, and the core definition of the concept, the research method and innovation.In the second part, theoretically, analyze the meaning and characteristics of life and the family education’s characters; practically, look into the requirements of the education’s development and the current situation of family.Part three construct life-emphasized family education from the idea and the content and the way of family education.The last part explores the strategies of constructing life-emphasized family education.
