| It is said that education is of fundamental importance to the fulfillment of our greatlong-range mission. Education progress is taken as the important symbol of national civilizationand national comprehensive strength. Teachers, the important founder of education development,are closely tied with national revival. Improving the quality of teachers and realizing theprofessional development of teachers has become an imminent important issue. Schools whereteachers work and study should take up the duty to promote professional development ofteachers.Based on case study from Zaozhuang H Primary School, this paper adopts literatureresearch, interview, questionnaire, case studies and other research methods to find out factorsand reasons which restrict professional development of teachers. This paper seeks to build upscientific and reasonable system of school system to advance professional development ofteachers, to enhance teachers’ identity and sense of belonging to the school, to stimulate theteachers to learn and to work and to accelerate the teacher development. At the same time, thispaper is used to explore mechanism which innovates school management mode, improves schoolmanagement and enhances the core competitiveness of the school. This paper is also devoted toprovide related theory researches with effective reference.This paper is divided into six parts.In the first part, reasons why to select this topic and purpose and significance of the researchis introduced. Main research methods are mentioned in this part. At the end of this part, therelated literature at home and abroad is briefly summarized and analyzed.The second part focuses on definition of key words, such as system, guidance, professionaldevelopment of teachers and professional development of teachers guided by system. This part isstarted with introduction of the connotation and extension of system. The features of the systemguidance are analyzed. Based on a comprehensive view of scholars at home and abroad, conceptof professional development of teachers is defined. Finally connotation of professionaldevelopment of teachers guided by system is established.In the third part, detailed and objective introduction of present system and results obtainedin professional development of teachers in H primary school is introduced. In the fourth part, the actual situation of professional development of teachers in H primaryschool is investigated by the help of interview and questionnaire. The investigation reveals mainproblems prevent professional development of teachers in H school. Problems mainly includerejuvenation of teachers, lack of professional development assistance and motivation, uncleardevelopment goals, lack of interest in professional development, lack of flexibility inperformance of system and lack of professional development guarantees.The fifth part is devoted to analysis of the reasons affecting professional development ofteachers in H primary school. Main reasons include poor teachers’ cooperation mechanismeffectiveness and lack of teachers’ incentive mechanism effectiveness. Teachers’ evaluationsystem can not ascend teachers’ interests in professional development of teachers.People-oriented rule is not carried out in execution.In the sixth part, combined with the practical situation of the school, policy suggestionspromoting the professional development of teachers in H elementary school are put forward. Thefirst suggestion is to building up cooperation mechanism to add motions to professionaldevelopment of teachers. The second suggestion is to establish an effective incentive mechanismto improve the initiative of professional development of teachers. The third suggestion is to setup a layered evaluation system to make clear goals for professional development of teachers. Thefourth suggestion is carry out the humanized management to provide professional developmentof teachers with guarantees. |
