Accompanied by the strategy of revitalizing and strengthening the country throughpersonnel implementing the strategy of our research project has been the developing rapidly,and academic and research atmosphere active than ever before. Academic and research resultsfruits, as well as economic development, scientific and technological innovation, speed up thetransformation of economic development made due to contributions.Entering the informationage, scientific research and innovation ability have become an important indicator to measure acountry’s comprehensive strength, talent quality is the key factor to innovation of science andtechnology, education is the main channel of training talents.Traditional three major functionsof University are training,scientific research and service to the community, also it is the placeto spread knowledge, innovative culture, train talents, and these activities are inseparable fromthe search for truth, and the study of profound knowledge, the academic activity is the pursuitof truth, and exploring the way of insight. Academic evaluation as an academic activity, notonly has a direct bearing on academic research results of the qualification, but also affects theacademic and research activities of the order. The academic resource allocation, which willaffect academic development. Therefore, the study of my university academic evaluationsystem is of great significance.The paper has four parts.The first section sets out University Academic evaluation of thebasic theory and defines the core concept such as academic evaluation system.In this way,wecan understand the focus of the study,and provide data for future writing.The second part introduces the historical evolution of university academic evaluationsystem in our country, analyses the development of university academic evaluation system inChina.This paper regards the period of historical development as the cutting point, analysescharacteristics of university academic evaluation system in each period of time, from this wecan master the overall development of university academic evaluation system and understandits historical development process.The third part discusses the problems of the current university academic evaluation systemin our country, and the cause. There are five principal problems with the current universityacademic evaluation system: dislocation concept of academic evaluation, overweightquantitative evaluation method, improper valuation rules, the unsound of evaluation andsupervision mechanism,and academic misconducts problems highlighted.Paper mines thereasons of these problems from the policy laws and regulation,social cognition, traditionalculture and market economy. The fourth part puts forward some suggestions of optimizing university academicevaluation system, this is the center of the paper, according to the previous study content,itproposes some ways to improve the problems.
