The policy of faculty training in vocational education is becoming a heated issue in public education. Recently there are two levels of them which are intimate with each other. One is state level, and the other is provincial level.More often than not the policy of state level need to be changed into provincial level. The policy of faculty training in vocational education is obviously characterized to be regional which is considered as an essential perspective to scrutinize it. This paper discuss fours qusstions of regional backgroud, regional implement, regional dilemma, regional effect, and the research conclusions and basic viewpoints as follow.The policy of faculty training in vocational education is issued with the regional background circumstance of new industrialization, educationally powerful province and eduction informationization.A series of training plans have been regionaly implemented in vocational colleges in Hunan, of which they are the plan of training professional teachers, the prcticing plan of professional teachers in enterprise, the plan of establishing part-time faculty, and the plan of establishing training system, etc. According to the recent situation, the policy of faculty training in vocational education in Hunan confronts some difficulties which are regional as well. The difficulties are as follows:the absence of enterprise, the resistance of teachers and the negligence of duty by regional government behind which there lies hidden complicated reasons. In orde to get rid of dilemma, Hunan Province should to enhance the executive force of the policy. The policy of faculty training embodies a certain kind of regional values which are promoting the institutionalization of faculty training, reconstructing the content of faculty training, exploring the mode of faculty training in enterprise, and promoting the construction of training organizations.
