With the vigorous development of the primary school English education, the qualities ofEnglish education in primary schools have aroused great concern in society. Traditionalprimary school English education is tedious, and affects the quality of English education inprimary schools. This paper deals with the scientifically and objectively experiential teachingmethods, to provide a reference for the choices of English teaching methods in primaryschool.In this paper the experiential pedagogy theory, combined with the characteristics ofexperiential pedagogy, is discussed in order to have a deeper analysis into the experientialpedagogy.Firstly, the background and significance of the research are described, and then theresearch content and research ideas made clear.Then, the paper explains the status and characteristics of experiential pedagogy andanalyzes the main experiential pedagogy research methods and experiential pedagogy theory.This paper also analyzes the effect of the experimental classes and control classes fromthe experimental point of view and further analysis is made from multiple angles of thequestionnaires, direct interviews and spss data analysis.Finally, the paper makes value analysis from mathematical statistics-based approach.Pre-test score comparison, in-test scores comparison and post-test score comparison aremade between the experimental class and the control class test Through the above analysis,the paper argues that interactive teaching methods with the creation of the appropriatesituation, tend to arouse students’ interest and to attract their attention. Students have a stronginterest and a high degree of attention to actively participate in the classroom on the contactinteraction, resulting in significantly improved achievements. Vigorous efforts should bemade to encourage and support the conduct of experiential pedagogy.
