Design And Implementation Of Teaching Material Management System

As an important part of the educational management, textbook management also serves as part of the educational management in higher educational institutions. With the reform of educational system and renewal of educational ideas, many problems have gradually appeared from the traditional textbook management by means of manual or semi-automatic ways, such as inaccurate record of textbook orders, disordered acquisition from teachers, errors of the textbook database, failure in inquiry of tuition list, incomprehensive record of textbook retail and settlement, etc. Therefore, it is quite necessary to develop a set of textbook management system customized Xihua University.Based on the analysis of current problems existing in traditional textbook management models and the two textbook systems (module) used previously by Xihua University, this paper will start with the current conditions of textbook management system and propose improving measures, so as to come up with solutions for textbook management system of Xihua University.The main research work is as follows:Analysis of main problems existing in traditional textbooks management;Research on the features of textbook management system in Xihua University;Demand analysis and design of textbook management system based on research results, setup and text of the new system;This paper makes a comparison of system development models and adopts mixed models of C/S and B/S according to the current conditions. It also analyzes methods that take SQL SERVER2008from Microsoft Company as background database, C#language as the development tools and ASP.NET as development platform.
