The Research Of Corruption In Chinese Higher School’s Infrastructure Construction

With the increasing intensity of the educational system reform, China’s higherinstitutions have showed extraordinary development trend and corruption in theirinfrastructure construction sector has become more salient. The important value of discussingthe issue of anti-corruption in the infrastructure construction sector of China’s higherinstitutions and carrying out effective research on cracking down corruption lies indeveloping ideas and seeking methods to promote the anti-corruption in the infrastructureconstruction sector of China’s higher institutions.Specific research methods are as follows. First, literature law. By consulting domesticand international documents, domestic and international analyses and definitions about thecause of corruption and anti-corruption strategies given by various disciplines at home andabroad are explored. Secondly, statistics law. I will Analyze and reveal the problems anddefects of the anti-corruption system in the infrastructure construction sector of China’shigher institutions by collecting existing data related to corruption and anti-corruption in theinfrastructure construction sector of China’s higher institutions. Thirdly, case study. Byinvestigating corruption cases in recent years in the infrastructure construction sector ofChina’s higher institutions, I have obtained first-hand information and will provideconvincing cases for the thesis. Finally, expert interview. I have taken experts’advice andsuggestions on the establishment of anti-corruption system in the infrastructure constructionsector of China’s higher institutions and drawn upon experience and lessons of DisciplineInspection and Supervision Department in China’s higher institutions about the work ofanti-corruption in the infrastructure construction sector.This thesis mainly consists of five parts. Chapter One, the introduction part, statesclearly the background of the selected topic and its research value. Chapter Two, based on theconcept of behavior which take place in the infrastructure construction sector of China’shigher institutions, focuses on the all-dimensional in-depth analysis of typical cases whichtake place in the infrastructure construction sector of China’s higher institutions in recentyears so as to card the major characteristics and manifestation of corruption in theinfrastructure construction sector of China’s higher institutions. It comments on the graveharmfulness of corruption in the infrastructure construction sector of China’s higherinstitutions in macro aspects of social atmosphere, as well as in micro aspects of socialresources and project quality. Chapter Three discusses the major causes of corruption in theinfrastructure construction sector of China’s higher institutions in the enrolment period, including leading cadres lack of vigilance, unsound system, weak supervision. Chapter Fourputs forward measures to stop corruption in the infrastructure construction sector of China’shigher institutions: enhancing the supervision of the government, establishing and improvingmanagement regulations in the infrastructure construction sector of China’s higher institutionsand perfecting management system, strengthening ideological education and enhancing thequality of the leaders, perfecting power supervision system. Chapter Five conclude the finalconclusion of the research.
