Home-School Cooperation has become an inevitable trend of the development of the whole world education, In China, the research on Home-School Cooperation is at the very beginning. Although scholars have introduced the studies of Home-School Cooperation of foreign countries, there are insufficient researches which are suitable to the reality of our country, especially to the primary schools. In addition, there are other problems, such as inadequate laws, regulations and policies of "Home-School Cooperation" and the lack of relevant organization of all levels. Due to the working experience of being a head teacher for a long period, I realize the importance of Home-School Cooperation and urgency of improving the situation. Thus based on my educational practice in "Home-School Cooperation", this thesis tries to pursue the relevant feasible strategy in primary school, and make a contribution to the research on Home-School Cooperation. This study tries to adopt the research methods such as literature review, questionnaire, interview, etc. According to the theoretical researches on Home-School Cooperation at home and aboard, with the help of a parent questionnaire made by myself and interviews, I investigate the situation of Home-School Cooperation of one class in grade five of a primary school from Jinzhou new district, Dalian, and analyze the present problems of the cooperation between teachers and parents. Finally, this study provides four reform countermeasures:formulate relevant laws, regulations and policies as soon as possible; inform the importance of Home-School Cooperation and raise the relevant awareness of schools and parents; strengthen the theoretical research and practical experience, and promote the establishment of Home-School Cooperation organization of all levels; enhance the effect of Home-School Cooperation in varied ways, such as the teaching opening day, parent—child activities, school-home contacting manuals, home visits and modern information technology.
