The professional development of teachers is a major inevitable trend of thedevelopment of international education. Meanwhile, Secondary Vocational Schoolhas been received more attention. These years, the National Ministry of Educationissued a number of policies to guide, encourage and support it’s development. Withthe rise of China’s economy, China’s Tourism Industry entered a stage of rapiddevelopment, thus high quality and high degree of specialization of tourism talents areurgent needed. The progress of Secondary vocational tourism professional are helpfulfor the institutionalization and standardization of the teaching faculty and also beconducive to promote the secondary vocational school of tourism education.Literature method, survey method and interview method.etc are adopted in thispaper. Firstly, Literature methods are used to review the history of the teacherprofessional and Secondary Vocational tourism professional teacher’s development ofdomestic and overseas. Secondly, aimed at the existing problems we launched aninvestigation on the current Teachers of secondary vocational tourism usingquestionnaire method. Thirdly, non-structured interview was carried out on part of theteachers to get the fresh survey data. Finally, we analysis the secondary vocationaltourism problems and the influencing factors according to the statistics, and on thebasis of which the path of secondary vocational tourism professional development forteachers are proposed too.This paper mainly consists of five parts: the first part is the introduction, mainlyelaborated the background, research significance, research reviews, researchframeworks and research methods. The second part emphasize on the description ofsecondary vocational school teachers’ professional development, mainly the teachers’professional development and its professionalization, the characteristics of thesecondary vocational teachers’ professional development, the significance and thetheoretical basis of teacher’s professional development. The third part includes thecurrent situation and the influencing factors of Secondary vocational teachers’professional development. After a thorough investigation into the current situation, wefind out the existing problems and analyses the influencing factors. The Fourth partfocus on the path of secondary vocational teachers’ professional development, mainlyfrom the aspects of government administrative management, secondary vocationalschools and secondary vocational teachers. The fifth part is the epilogue, made asummary of the basic conclusions of this paper and the main ideas, the deficiency ofthis paper is also included.
