For all the colleges or universities, the teaching quality is a major event regarding their constructions and developments. It affects their reputation and influence in society greatly, thus it becomes a major topic which no colleges or universities can neglect. Improving the teaching quality is not only an inevitable requirement of our national education sector, but also a great path to further expand the college’s influence and to promote a sustain and healthy development of high education.The assessment of college teachers’teaching quality can greatly improve the quality of college teaching activities; it is an important method to strengthen the teaching management, to increase the teaching quality and to deepen education reform. And it has an irreplaceable role to improve the college management.Therefore, the study on college teaching quality assessment system is conducive to the promotion of the high education reform quality, and become a hot topics to the National Education Ministry and all our society,Thus the research on the university teachers’teaching quality assessment system has a very important practical significance and social value.From the overall situation point of view, along with recent years’reform and development, China’s higher education teaching quality evaluation system has a large degree of development and improvement, and some colleges and universities have established a relatively perfect teaching quality evaluation system, However, it is undeniable that there are still shortcomings and deficiencies in our college teaching quality evaluation system, there is still a long way for us to go.This article mainly focuses on the investigations and researches of China’s university teaching quality assessment system. By taking a social investigation and questionnaire survey, the author get a lot of findings on current assessment of college teaching quality. Such as:evaluation of the main body is not comprehensive enough; too much emphasis on student evaluation; evaluation is done after the final exam, students’paper test scores affect the assessment scores, And the author have a deep investigation on this.In accordance with a process of the problems discovery, research questions, analysis problems and think of ways to solve the problem,By fully understanding the system development status and trends of teaching quality assessment, and taking college c in Chengdu as an example; and with the help of interview, questionnaire analysis of the problems in teaching quality evaluation system, this article concludes a teaching quality assessment way which is suitable to teaching activities and can be a guidance for the local colleges and universities.
