| As the rapid social development and fierce competition for the talents,the talented teachers in higher educational institutions are losing seriously, andespecially some excellent college teachers with high education and high professionaltitle in the second-tier city, which are in the inferior position in this competitioncompared with the big city, tend to lose. The outflow of talented teachers has influencedthe survival and development of the universities in the second-tier city, so how tocontrol the outflow of teachers has become one of the biggest problems to solve, whichmanagement departments are much concerned about. The loss of teachers can bedivided into two types: the explicit loss and implicit loss. The explicit loss is visible;however, the implicit loss is hidden. The implicit loss does more harm than explicit lossto some extent. This thesis does the researches on the implicit loss in the S University inZ City (non-capital city) south of Sichuan Province, analyzing its current situation, thecharacteristics and impacts. It reveals the reasons for the loss of teachers in theperspective of the social environment, university and teachers. On the basis of theanalysis, the strategies and suggestions on how to control the implicit loss of teachersare put forward in order to stabilize the teacher group.This thesis is divided into five parts to discuss the implicit outflow of teachers in SUniversity:Part One: Introduction. It mainly introduces the research background, purpose,significance, putting forward to the research methods and basic framework.Part Two: Literature review. It analyzes the domestic and foreign researches, defining the related concepts.Part Three: the investigation on the concrete situations in the S University.Part Four: the research on the reasons for the teachers’ loss.Part Five: Advice on how to control the teachers’ loss.Part Six: the end words.Through the case study of the S University, the paper puts forward to somesuggestions on how to prevent the implicit outflow in order to provide some referencesfor the stability of the teacher group and promote the healthy development of theuniversities in second-tier cities in Sichuan Province. |
