The Study Of Lose-point Reason Of Our Country's Elite Women Tennis Players In Singles

Although the Chinese women players gained the doubles champion in 2004 Olympics tennis games and two Grand Slams in 2006,they did not exceedingly good in singles.However,LiNa and PengShuai,who are the Chinese outstanding women tennis players,showed perfectly in recent years,so we should believe that they could bring us a brighter prospect. Among them,LaNa gains the 16th international ranking,which is a heroic undertaking without precedent in history.At the same time,PengShuai defeated many elite international players by her excellent sports talent and systematic training basis.Beside these,the style of them is close to the players of Europe and America.Researching their performances in the games is benefit to improve the training equality and the achievement of singles,with the terminal goal to promote the Chinese tennis levels.This paper bases on our country' s elite woman tennis players Li Na and PengShuai for study and conducted a comprehensive analysis of their losing-point status in 21 games from 2005 to 2007 by using literature, expert interviews,video observation statistics,mathematical statistics,and other methods.In these games,there are some obvious deficiencies of Li Na and PengShuai.So we pointed out the gap between them and the top-ranking tennis players in the world in order to draw their attentions.The result of this study shown that:1 The proportion of excellent Chinese women players LiNa and PengShuai' s losing-points in the meeting-serves stage is the biggest,followed by the proportion in the serving stage,and the proportion in the stage of stalemate is the least.2 In the use of technology,LiNa' s frequency of forehand is the biggest, and PengShuai' s frequency of backhand is far more than other technologies.3 In the serving stage,Li Na has a fairly high success rate in the first serve,and PengShuai' s is comparatively lower.Although Li Na could play the winning scores sometimes,most of time she lost points compelled in the first two offensive boards after serving.Relatively PengShuai lost too many points after the second serve.4 In the meeting-serves stage,the proportion of their reserved fault is the most,followed by the proportion of forced error after reserving the first serve.5 In the stage of stalemate,Li Na' s unforced error is far more than forced error,and her forehand lost more points than backhand. PengShuai' s unforced error is less than forced error,and her forehand lost as much points as backhand.6 Li Na enhanced the ability of the backhand attack in 2007,as a result that her backhand has more concealment and aims at the placement exactly. At the same time,Peng Shuai' s attack is more aggressive.
