With the further of the Reform and Opening-up,the frequence of the socialcontact,the rapid development of the modern technology, the information age comessuddenly. And the importance of oral communication ability becomes highlighted.Theability is a flexible and witty listening and speaking ability during the process ofinterpersonal communication,which is not only a language ability,communicationability and work ability, but also an ability to develop harmoniously,to adapt to theEra.The content of Several Opinions Of The Ministry Of Education On FurtherDeepening The Teaching Reform In Secondary Occupation Education state clearly thatthe Public foundation courses in medium occupation schools should focus on the cultureof the students’basic scientific Cultural literacy, the service to the students’ professionaland lifelong-development learning.The oral communication ability is a necessary abilityfor the students’ occupation development, which benefits the students’employment andsustainable development.As the result of my visit to several medium schools in Meishan, most of the studentslack interest in the oral communication,which is regarded as a subject to or not to belearned. The main reason exist in the teaching effect and methods. But the visits to theenterprises tell us that the communication and coordination ability are regarded as thefour most important qualities for the employment.Based on the above survey, the papergives the present situation and counterpart of oral communication teaching in Meishanmedium occupation schools discussed from three chapters with the research method ofliterature,the action research method and survey and interview. According to problemsfound in the investigation, I make some discussion on the construction of oralcommunication teachers’ team,class management ability improving,clear the teachinggoals, and the courses content’s construction, as a reference to the related personnelswho involve in the Meishan oral communication teaching.
