ObjectiveTo analyze and comparatively study the whole process kinematics parameters of eight high level swimming athletes’turn technology, and put forward targeted training about turn technology, and to lie the foundation for improving the athlete’s turn technology; to analyze the timeliness, practicality, and repeatability of the method.MethodsThis study took eight high level swimming athletes as test object, using two water and three (two) underwater camera to shoot the whole process of the subjects, and using two-dimensional frame scale calibration to demarcate in shooting area. This study used DARTFISH and SIMI software for video processing, obtained different kinematics parameters such as turning stage time, body posture, sliding distance, number of underwater kick and so on, and comparatively analyzed the completion of athletes’turning technology combining with the literature method and expert consulting method. SPSS17.0statistical software was used for data processing, and the statistical analysis included paired T test, linear regression and correlation analysis, and the ORIGIN8.0drawing was used.Results(1) Kinematics parameters had high reliability and good stability. The test method had repeatability.(2) Distance from the wall before the turn (RD), velocity before the turn(Vb) and push-off velocity(Vp) had the greatest influence on turn15m time(15mt)(p<0.01), and the rolling time (RT) also had certain influence on15mt (p<0.05). RD and RT had positive correlation with15mt; Vb and Vp had negative correlation with15mt.Conclusions(1) This study can kinematic analysis each period of the whole swimming flip turn process through using the combination method of two water and three underwater camera by fixed-point2D regional synchronization captured, then use SIMI and Dartfish analysis the video images, and through repeated test prove that the parameters of high reliability, good repeatability.This method can immediately provide video data and partial kinematics indexes to coaches and athletes, and can help coaches and athletes to analyze and improve immediately turn technology. This method has a certain timeliness, practicality and repeatability.(2) SPSS17.0statistical software was used for data processing, and the statistical analysis included linear regression and correlation analysis, Research shows that15m time of flip turn is greatly affected by RD, RT, Vb, Vp and number of underwater kick. The methods to improve turning technology are:speeding up Vb, right RD, shortening RT, speeding up Vp, increasing the number of underwater kick etc. They all can reduce15mt.
