With the development of urbanization, Migrant children’s education problems caused bymore and more attention. The state promulgated " opinions of the State Council on the currentdevelopment of preschool education" in2010,and required the local governments to fullyconsider the demand of the migrant wokers’ child to receive preschool education. Althoughthere are some research on the compulsory of migrant children education, the researchfocused on3-6years children is relatively lacked, most of which are standed on thepsychology perspective or on the educational perspective, rarer of them on the sociologyperspective. Andy in order to solute the problem of floating children education, this paperwill study the influence of the cultural capital of family on the flow parent’s choice ofeducation from the perspective of sociology. This study uses these methods of lit erature,questionnaire and interview survey to obtain some useful data and information. Firstly, in thispaper, the theoretical principle of cultural capital of family and the parent’s choice ofeducation is constructed by analyzing literature and documents. Secondly, Systematiclyanalyzing the information obtained from the questionnaires, and the drawing someconclusions: First,The level of flow family cultural capital is lower; second, the ability ofthe flow of parents’ choice on children’s preschool education is also lower; third, the familycultural capital has a significant effect the flow of parents’choice of their children’s preschooleducation; fourth, the choice of the flowing parents who have different cultural capital are sisignificantly different.; fifth, the objective of family cultural capital have the most effective onthe flowing parent’s choice of their children’ preschool education, and the institutionalizationtakes the second places; sixth, The embodied family cultural capital indirectly influent thechoice of the flowing parents on their children’ s preschool education. Thirdly, by analyzingthe interview information, we get an explanatory framework which explained how the familycultural capital influent the flowing parent’s choice on their children’s preschool education.Finally, this paper provided some suggestion to the government, parents, kindergartenteachers and other social aspects for improving the flowing parent’s ability of choice on their children’preschool education.
