The national minority games is not only a sports meeting,what is more, it is even a communication platform. The ninth nationalminority games will be the first national comprehensive sports event heldin Guizhou province, what is a chance as well as a challenge for Guizhou.The research of the ninth minority games will provide guidance for otherevents which will be held later.Also, it will play a great guiding ruleinpropaganda of the economic、cultural、tourism of Guizhou.There are three research methods be used in this paper: the methodof literature、interview and content analysis. The research have donefrom the following four aspects of the ninth minority games: advocacyplanning、 means of publicity、 the media operations、 and mediasports.Finaly,the experience and the enlightenment are summarized.Advocacy planning is the comerstone to obtain excellent effect inpeopaganda. The first chapter of this paper introduces the advocacy ofthe Ninth National Games, including the establishment of the propagandaorganization and the promotion idea、task and guiding ideology of theNinth Minority Games. are ways to propagate, content is advertised bymeans of publicity. The second chapter of this paper is about the researchof three mans of publicity: organizational communication、 masscommunication and interpersonal communication. Of the three means ofpublicity, organizational communication and mass communication arewidely used. The media operations were gradually be well-known by mediaafter the2008Olympic Games, as well as be widely used gradually. TheNinth Minority Games firstly used the media operations, which never beenused before. By interviewing to do research on the main media centre andvenue media centers, the media operations provide great convenience forreporting mdias.Mass communication transport information through medium,so,in the fourth chapter-media reports, research be done on masscommunication. The fourth chapter mainly study three medias’ report ofthe Ninth Minority Games; newspaper report、TV report and network report.It analyses media report from respects as follow: report scale、reportcontent and report feature.The last part of the thesis summarizes thepublicity experience and enlightenment of Ninth National Minority Games on the basis of chapter four. It will be easily found through the researchthat the advertisement and organization of the Ninth Minority Games ishighly focus on the idea of media operation、variety means of propaganda、mass media communication、 colorful Guizhou as well as ethniccharacteristics, which are all inseparable.
