Since the reform of basic education, China’s education has made great achievements, but there are also some areas for improvement. China’s traditional science subject and curriculum has a strong logic and systematic, but the complete scientific knowledge is separated, has a narrow range of knowledge and mutual tedious repetition. The traditional Subject Curriculum too much emphasis on imparting knowledge and culture while ignoring the scientific methods and ability of students. Against this background, the integrated science curriculum reform of basic education piloted in some provinces and cities in junior high school grades7-9.The integrated science curriculum in accordance with the logical structure, screened and integrated the physics, chemistry, biology, geography and other related disciplines. Course contents become closer to real life, to help students recognize the integrity of scientific knowledge, to improve students’ scientific literacy, and pay more attention to students’ emotional and practical ability.Science curriculum for more than ten years, achieved certain achievements, but there are still some problems to be solved. This paper studies on how to cultivate students’ scientific literacy in junior high school science curriculum teaching through a questionnaire survey, analyze and summarize some of the problems that existed in the science curriculum teaching students of science, and discuss cultivating students’ scientific literacy in junior high school science curriculum from the perspective of the theory and practice, and puts forward relevant suggestions and countermeasures. Conclusions this study of junior high school science teaching to foster students’ scientific accomplishment has important practical significance and guidance role.This paper is divided into six parts:Part Ⅰ:Research the development status of scientific literacy theory at home and abroad and define the basic connotation of scientific literacy; on the curriculum reform and development of the concept of scientific analysis of the current state; discussion on role of science curriculum in the training of students’ scientific accomplishment and importance. Part Ⅱ:Analysis of present situation of junior middle school students’ scientific understanding through surveys.Part Ⅲ:study of junior high school science curriculum teaching on the teaching strategy of cultivating students’scientific quality.Part Ⅳ:scientific research on the training of students’ scientific quality in teaching practice.The main research findings:Science courses on training middle school students of science literacy has important role and meaning, This paper proposes the following recommendations and strategies in junior high school science courses teaching in the training students science literacy:1.combined science philosophy and science history training in middle school students science literacy;2.training students science literacy by strengthening experiment teaching;3.strengthening STS education, training students science literacy through experiential learning;4.carried out extracurricular activities, for science literacy of training.
