This paper, adopting the researching method of questionnaires which have beenissued to Chinese teachers and senior students in Indonesia Surabaya Chinese MiddleSchool Chinese Cram School,has been investigating their opinions and suggestionsabout Chinese teaching and learning in their school. Survey contents include: basicinformation of teachers and students,their attitudes towards Chinese learning,usingof teaching materials,opinions on teaching equipment and so on. This research aimsat uncovering the existing problems in Chinese teaching and learning in this school,and proposing relevant solutions to problems about qualified teachers, textbooks,teaching equipments, and teaching contents and methods. This paper can hopefullyprovide references and suggestions for schools, teachers and students involved inChinese leaning, as well as the latest materials for the world to learn about theChinese teaching and learning development in Indonesia.
