The Analysis And Suggestion Towards Recent Condition Of High School's Chinese Education In Surabaya,Indonesia

Surabaya is located in the eastern part of Java island, it is the second largest city in Indonesia and the largest city where ethnic Chinese in Indonesia live. In recent years Chinese teaching in Surabaya has been developing more and more, whether it is in private schools or the national schools, both recognize China's increasing prosperity and the importance of learning Chinese, so they are rushing to open Chinese class, but I found that there are many problems in the creation of Chinese education. This paper is intended to study the situation of Chinese education in Surabaya senior high school, I took five senior high schools as example and did research on teachers, students, and schools aspects. Through the questionnaire survey, on-the-spot investigation, interviews and other methods, I analyze the problems in Surabaya high school Chinese education, and puts forward some corresponding suggestions to solve these' problems. I hope that it will help the development of Chinese education in Surabaya and other cities in Indonesia in greater way.
