Provisions of music curriculum standard is the basic quality demand for the state of thenational in music,therefore, it undoubtedly has important guiding significance to theteaching materials, teaching and evaluation,as well as the starting point and destination ofteaching materials, teaching and evaluation. Because regardless of the textbooks orteaching, service for the basic quality training of these aspects or fields, so the study ofschool music curriculum standards has important guiding significance for our musicteaching in the future.This paper stands in the background of Chinese whole music education,targeted focuson the development of school music curriculum standards, and through the comparison ofvarious historical periods and foreign music curriculum development, to analyze andresearch some important problems in the development of music education curriculumstandard in China, to provide historical reference and theoretical basis for the betterdevelopment and construction of contemporary music education in primary and middleschools.Throughout the development of the music education, there are lots of research onChinese music curriculum, but the development and analysis of the music curriculumstandard in twentieth Century is also a lack of comprehensive and detailed research, thispaper studies is much more systematic than before.
