In the 1980s,the management mechanism of education system around the world has changed from "input driven" to "output driven",and the direction of education reform has swept the world.As a result,the curriculum standard has changed from traditional focus on subject content system to modern focus on students’ core competency.The academic quality standard is the product of the transformation of curriculum standard from traditional to modern.At the end of 2017,China promulgated the academic quality standards for ordinary high schools,which opened the curtain of modern transformation of China’s curriculum standards.The modern transformation of American music curriculum standards has gone through two generations and 20 years,and has now completed the transformation.In the initial stage of modern transformation of education standards in China,it is of great significance to study the transformation track of music curriculum standards of two generations in the United States and learn from the mature experience of American transformationBased on the national standards for music education in 1994 and the national core music standards in 2014,this study takes the PK-4 grade texts of music academic quality standards as the research object,and takes content analysis and comparison as the main research method to investigate the intergenerational differences and development trends in the development model and technology of music academic quality standards of the two generations in the United States,and obtains the enlightenment for the development of the quality standards of Preschool Art(Music)education in China.It is found that in the development of models,the first generation adopts the dual system model composed of music core competency system and music content system,and the second generation adopts the three system model composed of music core competency system,music cognitive system and implied music content system.In terms of development technology,the development model is transformed into the way of academic quality standard,the first generation adopts induction,and the second generation adopts deduction;the standard establishment structure,the first generation cross grade horizontal arrangement,and the second generation sub grade arrangement;the standard establishment idea,the first generation takes achievement standard as the logical starting point,and the second generation takes music core competency as the logical starting point;the expression level description language writing,the first generation mainly uses degree adverbs and adjectives to distinguish differences,and the second generation mainly uses action verbs to distinguish differences.The experience of American development has enlightening significance for the development of quality standards of preschool music education in China.In the aspect of developing model,the quality standard of preschool music education can establish the core quality of music from the logical starting point of core literacy and construct the model of literacy by cognitive system.In terms of development technology,the quality standard of preschool music education can be transformed into a development model by deductive way,and the horizontal structure of age is adopted;and the core quality of music is used as the logical starting point of compilation,the differences of performance level and description are distinguished by using procedural behavioral verbs.
