The quality of interaction between teachers and students which is one of the mainforms of teaching has a direct impact on the teaching effect. Physical Education, apractice-based course, is different from the other subjects. In the process of teaching, teachersand students practice, play games and share the joy of victory together. So the interactionexists throughout the class. Now most of the middle school physical education showed theproblems that the students’ positivity is not high; teachers and students do not activelycommunication; teaching atmosphere is boring and so on. These problems are directly relatedto the quality of interaction. Throughout the physical education class, the students don’t getequal development because the teachers generally make a difference in treatment. So it’s anecessary prerequisite to do the research of the differences of the teacher-student interactionin order to enhance the classroom activity and to improve the teaching quality.Based on the full research on teacher-student interaction in PE class and on the relevanttheories such as education equity, this paper summarizes some differences existing in theprocess of interaction between teachers and students. By means of documentary,systematic observation, contrastive analysis and mathematical statistics, this paper focuses onthe differences in interaction objects, interaction space, teachers’ evaluation and in interactionmodes during the process of interaction between teachers and students in middle school. Thispaper mainly using the teacher-student interaction system to collect and organize data of thesedifferences and puts forward some scientific and rational countermeasures and suggestions toprovide reference for the study of the teacher-student interaction,Through the research, we know that there are differences in interaction objects, ininteraction space, in teachers’ evaluation and in interaction modes during the process ofinteraction between teachers and students in middle school and that the teacher is one of themost factors that affect interaction differences. These differences will affect the quality of theteacher-student interaction to some extent. There are differences in interaction of a teacherand a student and interaction between a teacher and a group of students, differences inteacher-student and student-student interaction in interaction objects; differences betweenteacher’s duration and position transformation frequency in interaction space; differencesbetween teachers’ positive evaluation and negative evaluation, between oral assessment andevaluation of body language in teaching evaluation; differences in interaction of language, body language interaction and emotional interaction in interaction modes. These interactiondifferences come into being because of teachers, students and other factors. Finally, this paperputs forward the solutions and strategies: teachers should set up the consciousness of fair andequal and improve their professional abilities and ideological awareness constantly. And theyalso should establish equal relationship between teachers and students. Students should fullyrealize their principal role and take an active part in class. The school should increase theinvestment of sports venues and sports equipment and pay more attention to improve theutilization rate of them. Schools are required to implement small class teaching. Theeducation department should strengthen the training of teachers and deal with the relationshipbetween differences in teacher-student interaction and education equity.
