Life is the origin of education, the object of education is a vivid life that has itsown uniqueness, and education has to do is: to give knowledge and enrich the life.However, along with the quickly development of science and technology and theinflation of tool-rational, people pay more attention to practical knowledge and skills, inthis context, education makes people survive, but a fresh life has change to a concretemodel, loses its real characteristic, this article is in this context.In this paper, we discussed the development of students’ personality under theperspective of life education. There are a lot of the individual life education researchand the development of students’ personality theory, but the two together are relativelyfew. This paper is based on the characteristics of the life education theory whichconsiders that the life education and the development of students’ personality share thecommon starting point-“realistic individuals” and the common goal “human liberty andcomprehensive development”, and the two are interdependent, promote each other.After find the relationship between the two, the author analyzes the personality ofstudents under the current development of China’s education. On this basis, the authortakes the life education idea as the instruction, the internal needs of the life as the core,put forward their own views on promoting students’ personality development, makingthe idea of life education and the development of students’ personality can effectiveconnection, find the effective way to reach the goal of "free and overall development"what is starting from the "real man".The first part of the article, firstly explains the life, and introduces the concept andcharacteristics of life education. The second part describes the related concepts of personality and personality development, analyses the philosophical foundation ofpersonality development. The third part based on the previous two chapters, summarizesthe relations between life education and students’ personality development, Includingthe same origin, development, personality development is the intrinsic quality of theimplementation of life education and life education to promote the students’ personalitydevelopment these four aspects, and the two are interdependent, promote each other.The fourth part analyses the present student’s individuality development in realitycondition, and analyze the problems, pointed out the main factors are: themisunderstanding of the traditional education values, political system and economicsystem’s influence on education, the inflation of tool-rational, education targets’ offsetand educators life literacy is not high. The last part of the paper based on the lifeeducation concepts, aiming at the existing problems of student’s personality for china,making the people’s life characteristic as the basis, constructs a student individualitydevelopment system which is conforms to the essential requirements of Marxisthumanistic thoughts and to the internal requirements of man’s life, including theestablishment of the ideas, targets and approaches of the students’ personality thesethree aspects, realize the effective connection of life education and students’ personalitydevelopment, and these three aspects are interdependent, promote each other step bystep,making a system which is promote the students’ personality development.
