With the progress of society, human development, information technology forindividuals as well as national development, has become an unprecedented importance.Therefore, the information technology course has been set up and currently has a highpopularity. However, by observing the IT classroom teaching status and access to relevantliterature resources, easy to find, classroom students in poor condition, the effect ofinformation technology teaching was not optimistic. Author through literature study foundthat inappropriate teaching methods teacher used to promote the emergence of thisphenomenon is one important reason. Traditional teaching methods are no longer rigid"universal" approach, is now an urgent need to stimulate the enthusiasm of students to learnthe methods and strategies to improve this situation.In order to effectively ameliorate the high school information technology classroomteaching situation and enhance students’ learning enthusiasm, to improve classroom teachingenvironment to optimize the effect of classroom teaching, this study starting from theperspective of teaching methods, using a combination of theoretical study and practice ofresearch, explore and try to competitions motivation strategies is applied to IT teaching ofhigh school. This article consists of six parts, the first part is the introduction of the problem,significance, research programs; the second part is the theoretical basis of the subject,elaborating on the three perspectives from psychology, education and technical basis; Thethird part is the introduction of competition motivational strategies; In The fourth part,theprinciples, scope and methodology are proposed,which based on analysis of high school ITcurriculum, and designing teaching case; the fifth part, the case which have been designed isimplemented and analysis and summary the teaching Effect; the six part elaborateconclusions and outlook of the thesis. In this study, by the above study demonstrated contestmotivational strategies to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning, improve classroomteaching and learning environment, and optimize the effectiveness of teaching.
