2003national ministry of education explicitly put forward to develop vocationaleducation vigorously, development to date, the courses of teaching and learning are carriedout very impressive, in contrast, the cultural courses, especially the chinese lesson have beenin a more embarrassing situation, both the teachers’ teaching and students’ learning lack ofenthusiasm, the chinese lesson seems to be chicken ribs that "tasteless to eat and hesitate todiscard".The reason is various, this article mainly solves the following two reasons: one is thatmost students lack interest in learning, which makes them study Chinese more difficult. Thesecondary most of vocational school students who are failed tests or do not wish to continueto go to high school because of low grades, they had lots of failed learning experience formany years, and they lose interest in Chinese learning gradually, so they continue resist theChinese learning after entering vocational schools, this lead their score to worse, so they haveno interesting in learning more, even fed up with the others, to form a vicious circle. Thesecond is teachers’ improper teaching methods. On the one hand, the teaching method of someof the secondary vocational teachers are the same as the general education teaching method,without considering the existing level and acceptive ability of the secondary vocationalstudents. the determination of teaching goals break away from the secondary vocationalstudents’ actual need because of too high and too difficult, ignore the professionalcharacteristics of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools; On the other hand, theinfluence of traditional teaching methods. Teacher’s teaching method is old, single, rigid,inflexible, lead to Chinese lesson is boring.The novel is a literary genre that based on characters of specific image as the center,through a complete and detailed storyline and rich characters activities and specificenvironment, to reflect the social life. In the secondary vocational Chinese teaching, the novelalso occupies the important position. Novels attract students with tortuous plot and vividcharacter image, so the novels become one of the few text form that popular with students,therefore, the author hope that the novel teaching can become the key to open the door thatthe students to learn the Chinese, and make students love novels, fall in love with theChinese.This article will integrate the information technology and secondary novel readingteaching mainly through the study of secondary vocational novel reading teaching method, toestablish school novel reading teaching under the multimedia environment model, and preliminary design support tools that meet the needs of teaching, classroom teaching ofsecondary vocational school language novels provide theoretical basis and method guidanceand practice guidance, improve the students’ interest in learning, enhance students’ learningeffect, the wider and more in-depth for the future to carry out teaching reform, especially thereform of classroom teaching, to provide practical guide.
