The development of education followed the steps of the new century, the traditionalcentered on teachers, teaching materials and classroom teaching model cannot satisfied theneeds of social development. Overall quality and comprehensive development of talents areneeded in the21th century, Project-based Learning (PBL) has become one of internationalpopular teaching model, which by solving real problems life to develop students’ comprehen-sive ability.The new round of curriculum reform has the same goals with PBL,which paysattention to the relationship of subjects, emphasizes to cultivate students’ comprehensiveability. This article attempts to introduce this new type of teaching mode to the high schoolphysics classroom, to enrich the physical form of class teaching, arouse the enthusiasm ofstudents learning physics, improve the efficiency of classroom teaching, promote the develop-ment of students’ comprehensive ability.This article includes five parts:introduction, the theory of PBL, the implement of PBL insenior high school physics teaching research, physics teaching cases have been designed andanalysised on PBL and the conclusion.The first chapter introduce briefly intruduce the main reason this paper has been putforward and the research content, research purpose, research significance and researchmethods.The second chapter, The background and the deliberate status of PBL both at home andabroad has been analyzesed, supported theories about PBL has been discussesed and thereasons why PBL has been carried out in high school physics.The third chapter, Project and PBL has been definied through consulted reference books,characteristics of PBL has been summarized respectively; PBL can effectively improve theefficiency of teaching, promote the development of students in variety of skills. But PBL isnot everything, nor applicable to all teaching contents. Conditions, operation process andadvantages had been discussed.The fourth chapter, I’ve tried to analysed two typical cases and design a teaching case onhigh school physics.Conclusion part points out the existing problems and shortcomes of this paper.As one of the specific operation modes of Research-Based Learning, PBL promoted theprocess of the new curriculum reform effectively. This paper mainly adopts literature researchand case analysis methods, hopeing frontline teachers to pay attentions to PBL, and try to usePBL in the acult teaching activities to improve interesting and practical of physics teaching.
