| Virtual experiment is a new educational technique the experimenter can use as in the real environmentto conduct experiment, and it can realize the virtual reality environment by using virtual reality technology,and simulate the real experiment design software by using designed software. Our country begins tocurriculum reform of basic education in primary and secondary schools in2004. The technology of virtualexperiment in the new curriculum reform also begins to walk into the classroom and gradually callseducators’ attention in our country. The application and its teaching effect of virtual experiments in highschool chemical experiment has also become a research hot-spot.With the characteristics of simulation, immersion, interactivity, safety, free from time and spaceconstraints, virtual experiment can be the experimental phenomenon of microscopic macroscopic andembodies the chemistry problem, show some less obvious experimental phenomenon in the way ofmultisensory stimulation, deepen students’ cognition and at the same time it is a good learning tool whichcan make up the deficiency of the teaching of new courses and complement with real operationexperiments in high school chemical experiment teaching and it has also obtained the certain effect inteaching work. Because the teacher’s understanding level of virtual experiment is not in place, and therestriction of the level of the teachers’ education technology and hardware conditions. The virtualexperiment is used in the lower level and there is no better in playing its role, too. This paper discusses theapplication of virtual experiment in teaching chemistry experiment in middle school. The following is thework that has been done:Through interviews, questionnaires and other methods, investigate the sample of the presentsoftware and hardware configuration of modern educational technology in the central region of China andthe application of it in chemical experiment teaching. The survey found: there is a great relationshipbetween middle school chemistry experiment teaching facilities and the economic situation of the locatedschool. Although the situation of the educational technology hardware facilities is inconformity, but thevast majority of city and county middle schools have a computer room.2/3of the city middle schools areequipped with multimedia equipment, and all the county middle schools and50%of some classrooms rural middle schools are equipped with multimedia equipment. The situation of the experiment of someschool students is not optimistic. Due to various reasons, there are44.5%students during high schoolperiod having never done chemistry experiment. It is found in the survey that teachers’ understanding ofthat is not on a similar level and most of the teachers just know about virtual experiment in a superficialway. As for the virtual experiment’s teaching effect, there is no deeper understanding.29%of the teachersbelieve that it has the high utilization rate and easy to maintenance;52%of the teachers think it can be usedwithout time and space limit;27%teachers think that it has no sense of reality;16%of the teachers thinkthat it makes less language communication between teachers and students;8%of the teachers think thereare other effects;7%teachers don’t know. In the software aspect, the vast majority of middle schoolteachers can only use PPT to teach.Secondly, combine the requirements on the experimental teaching after the new curriculum reform ofmiddle school chemistry textbooks and exam outline, a careful analysis has been done for the high schoolchemistry experiment teaching, and discussed various factors and effect of virtual experiment technologyapplied in chemistry experiment. Using the related software to design common gas preparation inpreparation of three types of experimental apparatus, apply in chemistry classroom teaching, researchstrategy and the effect of its application. Compare the experimental teaching for a semester in two differentexperimental groups and analyze the multiple test scores and evaluate the experiment of the two groups ofstudents at the end of the semester. It can be found that students of virtual experiment and real experimentoperation group have good and bad points of different in the aspects of learning achievement and scorestandard deviation. The virtual experimental group students can receive the virtual experiment teaching andthere are certain interests, too. So it can be deemed that virtual experiment can play a real experimentteaching effect and can also improve the interest of learning and cultivate the scientific research ability,compared with the actual experimental operationFounded in the case teaching experiment, virtual experiment can train students’ science literacy ofasking questions, analyzing problems and solving problems through experimental in Chemistry ExperimentTeaching in middle schools;And enable the students to gradually develop awareness of the problem,improve the learning interest and learning efficiency, and cultivate students’ scientific research ability and the discrimination ability, to achieve efficient classroom purposes. |
