Education equity has been the ideal goal of human society. In modern society, scienceand technology develop fastly; knowledge and talent have become the basic elements of acountry and nation’s future. Education issues, especially the issue of educational equityunprecedented world attention. For our part, the issue of educational equity is an urgent needto get attention and solve problems. China’s socialist nature decides that education mustdemonstrate the idea of fairness, and every citizen’s right to education must be guaranteed.Whether educational equity can be achieved relates to the possibility of establishing arelationship to the modern education system, the ability to narrow the social gap between therich and the poor, the speed of social equity and ability to push forward, the vital interests ofevery member of society, the building of a well-off society and a harmonious socialist society,the future of our country and our nation.The most important function of education is to promote the students’ physical and mentaldevelopment and self-improvement, is to promote the relationship between people andthemselves, people and others, man and nature, man and society harmony. Therefore,education must adhere to people-oriented and must be highlight fairness. To some extent,education fairness reflects the educational resources configuration among individuals; the fairstarting point for each individual to accept education, the process and the result are bothjustice; both students and teachers are the main body of education fairness. Currently, thedegree of realization of China’s education fair is unsatisfactory. More and more academiccircles related with education fairness appeared and the public attention focus on this provethe importance of the education fairness. With the emergence of new social in the process ofurbanization (mainly referring to the rise of the middle-income groups and a lot of migrantworkers exist), educational equity showing more serious trend.This article thinks that there are five problems need to be solved urgently. They areeducational resources allocation, the mode of examination-oriented education, the education of children of migrant workers, the teaching profession and education corruption problems.(1)The education resource allocation imbalance in different regions, urban and rural areas,different education stages is not balanced. In order to resolve this problem, we need toincrease the total quality of educational resources and optimize the education resourcesinvestment structure.(2) The current examination-oriented education mode ignores thedifferences between individuals and it is not conducive to the individual’s comprehensive andsustainable development and it is also difficult to adapt to the needs of the development ofmodern society. In view of this, we should abandon the examination-oriented education mode,imply quality-oriented education mode, respect individuality and teach in an all-round way.(3)Discrimination in Education of the children of migrant workers is mainly for householdregistration discrimination and identity discrimination. In order to solve this problem, on theone hand, we should take various measures to weaken the impact of the householdregistration system for the education of children of migrant workers, on the other hand, wemust change the discriminatory identity recognition of migrant workers and their children assoon as possible.(4) Compared with other industries, the treatment level of the teachingprofession is relatively low. The treatment within the teaching profession differences and therelationship between teachers and students is more and more embarrassing. All thosephenomena have seriously impact on the enthusiasm of the teachers teaching. So we shouldimprove teachers’ treatment level in various industries, narrow the treatment differences ofteachers within the industry and built up the harmony teacher-student relationship, whichregards respect as the core. Cheating in the exam, random charges, power, money andlearning transactions, academic corruption and other education corruption phenomena emergein endlessly. The sharp contradiction between supply and demand, the lack of schooleducation funding, low cost of corruption in education and the unreasonable educationevaluation system are the main reasons of education corruption. The article advise that ourcountry should deal with those problems from four aspects, which include expanding thesupply of high quality education, improving the education fees system, making thepunishment method more strict and optimize the education evaluation system.
