With the development of modern world, more and more people who live in ethnic minority areas join the ranks of regional tourism. Tourism, especially in minority areas, relies on the unique ethnic culture. As a kind of cross-cultural exchange process, the tourism gives the chance for the persons who have different social and culture background to gather together to communicate. However, the cultural communication and interaction caused no small impact, the contradiction between the demand from tourists and the retention from the local knowledge are increasing obviously, thus leads to the problem of tourism development in the minority areas of the cultural inheritance gradually. In the increasing modern trend, ethnic culture becoming extremely fragile, many traditional cultures are in the loss constantly, even evolved as a fresh new one, which is totally different from the traditional model of culture, nonetheless, this new type of culture itself is a product of modern, the ethnic characteristics it can reflect are very limited. Once the culture which is marked by modern, occupy the leading position in a minority group, the real traditional culture would face great danger, which means losing its ethnic tradition, then, gradually losing the foundation of the tourism survival and development.From the Strength Perspective, on the basis of the related literature, using the practice of the social research and the intervention of social work, by choosing the case of tourism in Baima Tibetan, discuss the two aspects which are dance culture inheritance and the intervention of social work. First, analysis the overall situation of cultural heritage in target area, the development of tourism, and the dance culture inheritance in the background of tourism; secondly, summarize the ethnic cultural inheritance "distortion" of traditional musical culture with the tourism development, and the shortage of ethnic cultural integration; finally, combing methods and process on Baima Tibetan community from the first visit to join in to intervention. The process includes data survey, participant observation the bonfire party, picking up litters, participation in tourism reception, held group activities which means to establish the professional relationship, oral history and interviews, learning ethnic dance from young and old people, held the generation exchange activities. By using the social work concept,"help them to help themselves", to establish the cultural consciousness and cultural self-confidence for Baima Tibetan, and join to ranks of protecting the traditional culture consciously, in order to guarantee the ethnic culture have the ability to continue to maintain its simple, vernacular, original under the influence of the tourism development. For the last, find the best way for the ethnic culture adaptation and organic combination with the modern background, point out the mutually beneficial and win-win development way which has positive significance for the tourism and the minority cultural inheritance.
