Slowly as the wheel of history into the21st century, our country’s elementaryeducation reform also turn over a new leaf. On one hand, mathematics education in ourcountry has a long history in our country, on the other hand great changes have taken placein the mathematics education in China. Curriculum reform problems become the focus ofeducators. Studying mathematics education enables us to learn the essence. Experience ofhistory curriculum standards are needed for the current research, In order to provide help tothe research of new curriculum standards.According to the historical development,the thesis discuss curriculum standard ofJunior high school algebra course from the country founding until now. From theperspective of curriculum objectives, curriculum content and curriculum to analyze itsdevelopment characteristics, and then puts forward some Suggestions to the new curriculumreform.This article mainly USES the historical method, literature method, comparison method,text analysis research methods, etc. Get the following conclusion:(1) algebra course target should pay attention to the law of algebra and exploration ofthe model.(2) algebra course objectives should attach importance to the understanding andapplication of knowledge, weakening demand for tedious calculation.(3) Algebra course content should be chose for people in the future uses, rather thanmathematical knowledge.(4) mathematics curriculum content scope should be expanded, to reflect thedevelopment and progress of modern mathematics...
