The quality of teacher is the key factor determining the quality of education. The21stcentury is the century of life sciences, the future development of life sciences calls for highschool biology teachers with high-quality. Under the situation, the high school curriculumreform was launched, which put forward a higher requirements for high school teachersteaching: the requirements include teachers being researchers, which changes the originalrole of the teachers fundamentally; also include teachers coming out from the traditionalteaching role, which confers teacher a new meaning. In the face of challenges of the newcurriculum reform, teachers self-development increase urgently, and capabilities of teacherscientific research of education have become an important part of the teacher professionalquality, promotion of teacher professional development through education scientific researchhas become a significant aspect of teacher education reform. Improvement of teacher seducation ability and level through education scientific research has great significances forpromoting the development of education and improving teaching quality.Under the background of new curriculum reform, investigation of high school biologyteachers participating in the education scientific research of Xinjiang Production andConstruction Bingtuan (hereinafter referred to as the "Bingtuan"), and in-depthunderstanding of high school biology teacher s attitude and real idea in developing educationscientific research of Bingtuan, which have positive significance in strength of teacher seducation scientific research ability and improvement of teacher s teaching level. In thisstudy, combining the characteristics of life science research content and the requirements ofthe new curriculum reform, and in connection with the situation of high school biologyteachers educational science research of Bingtuan, we analyze the problems and constraintsand propose appropriate strategies and recommendations.The main content of the study includes the following two parts: The first part is theinvestigation and analysis of high school biology teacher educational science research abilityof Bingtuan. On the basis of the literature integration about teacher educational scienceresearch ability, combining questionnaires and interviews, we perform some investigationsincluding necessity of Bingtuan high school teachers educational science research, situationof participation in education scientific research, development situation of teacher educationscientific research, and education scientific research related theories of learning. The results show as follows,1. In the aspect of necessity of educational science research, the majority ofteachers consider that educational science research is necessary, but teachers performing it arefewer.2. Because of onerous teaching task and limited time, teachers have low activity to puteducational science research into practice. Because of various reasons, although manyteachers have the desire for practice of educational science research, but develop educationalscience research rarely.3. High School don t attach enough importance to educational scienceresearch, and haven t perfect guiding ideology and corresponding achieves.4. Regionaleducation department in charge of research funding don t give enough funding in educationalscience research and evaluate results than process. The second part is the strategies andrecommendations to improve the teachers ability of Bingtuan high school biology ineducational science research. In connection with the investigation results and existingproblems of Bingtuan high school teachers participating educational science research, throughanalysis of the survey results, this study summarizes objective and subjective factors affectingBingtuan high school teachers participation in educational science research. The objectivefactors include as follows,1. Regional education department should pay more attention toeducational science research, establish specialized organizations and training institutions andincrease investment in education scientific research.2. Bingtuan high school should changetheir concept of education, build a positive and healthy school culture, increase educationalscience research awards, construct reasonably practicable teacher evaluation system,strengthen the construction of the hardware devices, encourage teachers to participateeducation teaching and scientific research, and provide a good foundation for teachersengaged in education scientific research. The subjective factors contain as below, teachersshould continue to strengthen the basics of education scientific research, improve activelyengaged in education scientific research, and plunge into education scientific research.Ability of teacher educational science research determines the success of the newcurriculum reform directly, and will play a vital role in promotion and facilitation of the newcurriculum reform. In order to improve educational science research capabilities of Bingtuanhigh school teachers, local education department, school and teacher must be a three-prongedapproach to promote and improve teacher education and scientific research ability, and toguarantee the effective implementation of the new curriculum and teaching level.
