| Popular science education is the best way to improve the scientific literacy of citizens and enhance the national strengths.Teenagers must be the most important object of popular science education.Biology is one of major branches of natural sciences.What’s more,there are large numbers of knowledges related to popular science education in high school biology textbooks.Therefore,the knowledge of popular science education is employed in biology teaching,in this thesis.With the help of popular science education,students learn biology effectively and meanwhile teachers can get benefits a lot.The practice of popular science education in high school biology teaching includes document analysis,questionnaire surveys,educational experiments and interviews,etc.According to the survey and analysis on the popular science education in high school biology teaching,we found that many teachers would pay no attention on the popular science education.They do not even know what it means.Students also know less about the popular science education.But when we asked them their attitudes on the practice of popular science education in high school biology teaching,most of them thought it would be useful to biology learning.After a semester of science education practice concerning permeation teaching of popular science education a conclusion can be drawn that it improve students’interests in biology learning.In addition,it can strengthen students’ solidarity consciousness and the attention to some important social events.As for teachers,the practice of popular science education can have their teaching contents richened and their teaching ability improved. |
