A Tentative Investigation Into The Chemistry Teachers In Senior High Schools, Xinjiang Bingtuan: Issues And Solutions

The new elementary education curriculum reformation is an important step that our Chinese educational commission has taken, which aims at meeting the development of society in the new century, which is also the key point of improving the quality education. Teachers are the designers and executors of new courses. Teachers of top qualifications are the basic requirement for higher quality education. With the development of new curriculum reform in High School, the quality of teachers, teaching theories, teaching methods and the like will become more and more important in position and function of the reform process. More attention will be paid to them by the people from the education and the society. We'd better establish a group of teachers who are qualified with reasonable academic structure and excellent teaching skills, which is the basis of great improvement in teaching quality and the effective assurance of curriculum reformation.The study has investigated carefully on the basic situation for the chemistry teachers of senior schools in Bingtuan, Xinjiang, including their teaching, teaching research and the preparation for the curriculum reform. The paper has obtained the first- hand data of chemistry teachers in Bingtuan. In the background of the reform for new curriculum, according to the requirement for the basis of new course reform, the paper points to the current situation of the development of high school education and chemistry teachers. We have studied and come up with recommendations the development of professional chemistry teachers in high school. The requirement for teachers' development that has been raised plays an important role in this study. All these measures can improve the development of reform in chemistry course and build a group of high school teachers with high qualities.
