The end of the20th century, Edgar Morin entrusted to undertake a project "the education for a viable future" research by UNESCO. He puts forward "seven kinds of knowledge required in the future education" as a research conclusion. But,"seven kinds of knowledge" which advanced by Moran is the most lack of knowledge in our country at present. Through the demonstration of the necessity and feasibility of learning "seven kinds of knowledge" in the informal education, this paper alert people to realize the sense of urgency of learning "seven kinds of knowledge" by informal education in today’s era. It reveals how to realize the learning of "seven kinds of knowledge" through informal education by the way of examples and analysis on film and television. It enables people to establish the concept of informal education, and enhances the confidence of people learning "seven kinds of knowledge" in the informal education. The value of this study is not to stay on the conceptual discussion and the level of ideas, but the argumentation of feasibility in reality. That is, it enables people to see the appearance of specific informal education.The main content of this research will be built around four parts. The first part of the content:the interpretation of "seven kinds of knowledge required in the future education" raised by Moran. Specifically introduce the specific content of Morin’s "seven kinds of knowledge"; the significance of "seven kinds of knowledge". The second part of the content:the demonstration of the necessity of learning "seven kinds of knowledge" in the informal education. Specific studies:why should we learn "seven kinds of knowledge", that is the necessity of learning the "seven kinds of knowledge" what are the possible ways of learning "seven kinds of knowledge"; the predicament of learning the "seven kinds of knowledge" in formal education and non-formal education at present; the necessity of looking for other way which mainly refers to informal education. Content of the third is the informal education research. Detailed study the current situation of informal education and it’s existing problems in our country. Content of the four:the feasibility study of learning "seven kinds of knowledge" in the informal education. Specifically to study the practical way of film and television: illustrative analysis on learning the knowledge of human status and the knowledge of human ethics by the way of film and television; examples and analysis on learning the knowledge about earth’s intrinsic through television programs; examples and analysis on learning the knowledge of mutual understanding through television programs; examples and analysis on learning the knowledge of structuring appropriate minds; examples and analysis on learning the knowledge of challenging indeterminacy. Finally, I put forward some suggestions on how to improve the feasibility aiming at learning the "seven kinds of knowledge" in informal education.
