Our country is carrying on the new round of curriculum reform, one of the highlights ofthe new curriculum reform, project learning. Through the project learning, interdisciplinaryintegration that blur the boundaries between disciplines, can stimulate students’ activelearning, cultivate students’ comprehensive ability to use knowledge to solve the problem.Current the study on mathematics project learning based on geography in junior middleschool is relatively weak, so this article mainly studies mathematics project learning based ongeography in junior middle school teaching programs and its implementation effect, hope cansuccessfully carry out mathematics project learning based on geography in junior middleschool provides reference.This study first research maths and geography curriculum and teaching material,determining the topic, design four project learning case and carry on the teaching practice.Then, based on the analysis and summarizes the implementation effect of refiningsummarized mathematics project learning based on geography in junior middle schoolteaching programs. Including the first to the third mathematics project learning based ongeography in junior middle school content selection, teaching strategies, achievementevaluation.After the teaching practice according to the result of the three types of student’sinterview,including outstanding students, secondary students, underachievers,mathematics project learning based on geography in junior middle school can let studentsfrom passive learning into active learning, set up the relationship between knowledgecomprehensive application of knowledge to solve problems, stimulate students’ interest inlearning, improve the comprehensive quality of students.
