Abstract/Summary:
As the striving growth of Children’s Literature, there is the prosperity in the rapid increase in Children’s Literature Product. Presently with multi-cultural development for Pre-School Children’s Education, it offers greater freedom and self-decision making power in selecting courses and its content. Therefore, the introduction of Children’s Literature Product of better quality and varieties is the inevitable trend. Many Classic and outstanding Literature Product for Pre-school children enriches the resources for Pre-School Education, thus providing the respective dedication for its development.Compare to other levels of education, Pre-School Education enjoys larger freedom in regards of providing the Pre-School Children’s Literature Product, especially in the daily reading materials. However, there is a vacancy in a scientific guidance and relative support in providing and the usage of the above Literature Product. Therefore it is worthy of researching and exploring in an adequate way to determine whether the needs and Literature Product provided suits for the nowadays development for Pre-School Education. As presented in this paper researcher/writer takes the type of story and picture book of Pre-School Children’s Literature as the Object of Study to summarize the present situation of providing and the usage of this type of books, and analyze the problems aroused, thus providing the relative education suggestion as reference for the providing and usage of such books for Pre-School through a series of interview with Pre-School principals and teachers, observation of present Pre-School teaching activities and analysis on the content of present story and picture books.This paper is consisted of four parts:The first part is to raise issues..Introducing background and current the situation of the research, discussing the topic of reasons, analyzing the relevant literatures are providing a reference for further study. At the same time, presenting ideas, methods of the research.The second part is to present the current situation of the kindergarten story books on providing. Mainly discussing the subjects, basis,quantity,content and replacement of story books on providing.The third part is to analyze the current situation of the kindergarten story books on usage.Discussing the conditions and time of usage about kindergarten story books. And it also discusses the using situation of kindergarten story books by teachers and children.Part Ⅳ is the research conclusion. It summs up the existing problems of providing and using story books in kindergartens.Part Ⅴ Putts forward the corresponding educational suggestions to direct at the problems of providing and using story books in kindergartens.
